Travers, international award–winning author and groundbreaking career coach for
actors, is one of the entertainment industry’s most impactful voices. Her book, “The Tao of Show Business: How to
Pursue Your Dream Without Losing Your Mind,” was a finalist for a 2009 National
Indie Excellence Book Award. That year “The Tao” also won first prize in the
“How To” category at the London and Hollywood Book Festivals and was a
runner-up in the “Wild Card” category at the New York Book Festival.
Since
August 2001, Travers has helped thousands of actors to increase their
auditions, produce their own projects, secure representation, and book roles in
theater, film, and television. Her cutting-edge business strategies empower
actors to transform their approach to the business.
With
a master-level certification from the Institute for Professional Empowerment
Coaching, Travers mindfully takes into account the psychological needs of the
actor. Her unsurpassed coaching skills in conjunction with her business
expertise enable her to address the core issues many actors face in regard to
business and career management.
She
teaches and motivates actors across the globe through live workshops, personal
coaching, and her online coaching program, The Thriving Artist Circle.
